What you get (in simple terms):
- 48‑hour result
Once you give us a complete brief, we deliver a single, haggle‑free, winning drive‑away offer within 48 hours (two business days). - Privacy, protected
We won’t release your personal phone or email to any dealer before you sign (unless you explicitly authorise it). If a dealer reaches you directly because of us, you’re compensated. - $500 (or $750 credit) if we slip
If we miss the 48‑hour deadline or breach your privacy promise, you choose A$500 cash or A$750 credit towards finance brokerage fees (if you proceed with finance via our panel). The credit isn’t transferable, can’t be taken as cash, and expires after 12 months. - Complimentary, with fair use
Car sourcing is free for up to two model/variant checks per intended purchase. Extra checks are A$250 each. We reserve our free capacity for people who genuinely want speed, clarity and protection—not for price‑shopping or running your own bidding war. - Not a “lowest price” guarantee
Your “winning” price is simply the sharpest offer we obtain inside our sealed bid round—not the absolute lowest price in the universe, ever. If you later find a cheaper quote elsewhere, that alone doesn’t trigger the guarantee. - Per deal, not per car (fleet & multi‑vehicle)
For multi‑car or fleet purchases, the guarantee (and any payout) applies once per deal—limited to the first vehicle only. - New cars only
The guarantee covers new vehicles. It doesn’t apply to demos, used, pre‑registered, auction, or private sales, or to time‑limited/unrepeatable specials. - How to claim
Tell us within 7 calendar days of the issue at support@carmada.com.au. You’ll need to provide clear, unquesionable evidence (timestamps, emails/headers, caller IDs, or a dealer admission that they sourced your details from us). We have 14 calendar days to investigate. - Caps & limits
One successful claim per intended purchase/deal (and we may limit to one per customer in any rolling 12 months). Our total annual payout across all customers is capped at A$10,000. - Finance is separate
Finance brokerage is optional and outside the ActiveArmour™ guarantee. (That’s why the make‑good gives you the choice of finance credit or cash.) - Law & privacy
Governed by Queensland law. We follow the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and keep minimal records (up to 24 months) to verify and resolve claims.

Terms and Conditions
1) TL;DR (the promise in one section)
- We deliver your winning drive‑away offer within 48 hours (two business days) of receiving your complete brief.
- We do not release your personal contact details to any dealer before you sign (unless you authorise it).
- You get one clean, haggle‑free, final drive‑away figure.
- If we miss the 48‑hour deadline or a dealer contacts you directly using your personal details because of us, you choose A$500 cash or A$750 credit towards finance brokerage fees (if you proceed with finance through our panel).
- Car sourcing is complimentary for up to two model/variant checks per intended purchase. Extra checks are A$250 each.
- For fleet or multi‑vehicle purchases, the guarantee and any payout apply once per deal (the first vehicle only).
- Our total annual payout under this guarantee is capped at A$10,000 across all customers.
- ActiveArmour™ is not a “lowest price” guarantee. “Winning” means the sharpest offer we obtain inside our sealed bid round, not the absolute lowest price in the market.
Finance is not covered by ActiveArmour™. It’s optional, separate, and transparently disclosed.
2) Definitions (precision, up front)
ActiveArmour™
Our complimentary car‑sourcing process that:
(a) withholds your personal contact details from dealers until you sign (unless you authorise otherwise),
(b) runs a sealed, behind‑the‑curtain bidding process across selected dealers, and
(c) returns one, haggle‑free, winning drive‑away offer within 48 hours (two business days).
Winning drive‑away offer / price
The sharpest all‑inclusive drive‑away price we obtain for you within our sealed bid round, based on your complete brief. It includes: the vehicle price, dealer delivery, compulsory government charges (stamp duty, registration, CTP), and any dealer‑mandated accessories or fees disclosed with the offer.
It does not mean the lowest price available in the entire market, at any future time, or after unlimited bidding. We optimise for clarity, speed, convenience and protection, not endless price warfare.
Not a lowest‑price guarantee
ActiveArmour™ is not a “lowest price” or “best price guaranteed” promise. “Winning” refers to the strongest eligible offer we receive in our sealed bid round, not every theoretical or later market price. We are not required to canvas every dealership in Australia. If you or another party later obtains a lower price outside our process, that alone does not trigger the guarantee.
48 hours / two business days
The timer starts when you provide a complete, finalised brief in writing (see below) and Carmada confirms receipt. It excludes weekends and Queensland public holidays. The timer stops when we send (timestamped email/SMS to your nominated contact) your winning drive‑away offer.
Example: Confirm at 3:00 pm Monday → we must deliver by 3:00 pm Wednesday (assuming both are Queensland business days).
Complete vehicle brief
At minimum: make, model, variant, body, transmission, colour, factory options, state/territory of registration, intended delivery timing, and any non‑standard requirements (e.g. required accessories, ABN/business use, fleet entitlement). Any material change restarts the 48‑hour clock from our acknowledgement of the updated brief.
Dealer contact (pre‑contract)
A phone call, SMS, email or DM sent directly to your personal number/email/account by a dealer or their salesperson before you sign, because they obtained your personal details from Carmada.
Not counted as dealer contact for this guarantee:
- Any contact you initiated or authorised (e.g. you called/emailed them, handed over your number in a showroom or via another broker/marketplace).
- Contact after you sign a purchase contract.
- Contact from finance partners you expressly engaged.
- Contact you cannot prove was caused by Carmada supplying your personal details.
Deal / Fleet or Multi‑vehicle deal
A single purchase event (or contract) that covers one or more vehicles. For the purposes of this guarantee, the guarantee (and any payout) applies once per deal, limited to the first vehicle only.
Complimentary
You are not charged for the first two (2) car‑sourcing checks (up to two models/variants total) for a single intended purchase. Additional checks are A$250 each.
Sealed bid
We collect confidential, best‑and‑final drive‑away offers from selected dealers and present you one winning number—we do not drip‑feed or stair‑step you.
Who ActiveArmour™ is for
ActiveArmour™ serves time‑poor Australians who hate haggling, don’t want sales pressure, and want one clean, trusted answer fast. If you’re collecting prices to test us, trade off our work, or run your own bidding war, please don’t use our complimentary service. We must protect our limited, complimentary service capacity for people who genuinely need protection, clarity, and time back.
Business day / time
Business days are days other than weekends and public holidays in Queensland, Australia. All times are AEST (Queensland does not observe daylight savings).
3) The promise
- Speed — We deliver your winning drive‑away offer in 48 hours (two business days) once your brief is complete and confirmed.
- Privacy — We do not release your personal phone or email to any dealer before contract, unless you authorise us in writing.
- Simplicity — You receive one final, haggle‑free drive‑away price.
- Make‑good — If we fail on timing (#1) or privacy (#2), or both, you choose:
- A$500 cash, or
- A$750 credit towards finance brokerage fees (if you proceed with a loan via Carmada’s panel). The credit is non‑transferable, not redeemable for cash, and expires 12 months from issue.
- Complimentary — Car sourcing is free for up to two model/variant checks per intended purchase. Additional checks: A$250 per check.
- Per deal, not per car — For fleet or multi‑vehicle purchases, the guarantee (and any payout) applies once per deal, limited to the first vehicle only.
- Premium service, not price warfare — We typically secure sharper pricing than a standard walk‑in thanks to scale, relationships and process. But our guarantee protects your time, privacy and clarity, not a race to the bottom.
- Not lowest‑price guaranteed — The guarantee is not triggered by cheaper prices found later, elsewhere, or after additional haggling outside our process.
4) Eligibility (including fair use)
You’re eligible if:
- You’re sourcing a new vehicle (not used, demo, pre‑registered, auction or private sale).
- You provide a complete, finalised brief in writing.
- You do not give your personal contact details to any dealer, broker or marketplace during ActiveArmour™.
- You have not exhausted your two complimentary checks for this intended purchase.
- For fleet/multi‑vehicle purchases: you accept that the guarantee applies once per deal.
- You’re buying in Australia.
- Fair use: Carmada may decline, pause, or charge a professional fee where requests indicate price‑shopping behaviour, excessive re‑briefing, or use of ActiveArmour™ as a free market‑testing tool.
5) When the 48‑hour clock doesn’t apply (or restarts)
- You change your brief materially (model, variant, colour, options, registration state, delivery timing). The clock restarts from our acknowledgement of the revised brief.
- You provide incomplete or unclear information, or delay replies to clarification.
- Force majeure or carrier/platform failures prevent timely delivery.
- Email/SMS delivery fails for reasons outside our control (spam filtering, incorrect details, full inbox, etc.).
- You request more than two model/variant checks—additional checks (A$250 each) run on their own 48‑hour clocks.
6) How to claim (and what you must prove)
Lodge within 7 calendar days of the alleged breach by emailing support@carmada.com.au with:
- Your full name and the timestamp of your confirmed complete brief.
- The type of breach:
- Timing — we delivered the offer after the 48‑hour window.
- Privacy — a dealer contacted you directly using your personal details, and you can prove Carmada supplied those details.
- Evidence:
- Timing: our offer’s timestamp vs your brief‑confirmation timestamp.
- Privacy: caller ID / screenshots, email headers, message content, timestamp, plus a written acknowledgement from the dealer (or equivalent proof we can verify) that they sourced your personal details from Carmada.
- Authority for Carmada to verify the claim with the dealer and relevant parties.
Investigation window: up to 14 calendar days. We’ll review internal records of any personal detail disclosures we made to dealers, contact the dealer if needed, and make a determination. If we accept the claim, we’ll pay A$500 or issue the A$750 credit (your choice) within 7 calendar days.
7) Exclusions
The guarantee does not apply if:
- You gave your personal contact details to any dealer (in person, online, via another broker/marketplace), or otherwise authorised direct contact.
- Contact occurs after you sign the purchase contract.
- You cannot demonstrate that the dealer obtained your details from Carmada.
- You changed your brief and the clock restarted (see §5).
- The breach arose from a force majeure event or third‑party carrier/platform failure.
- You submit no objective proof or refuse to co‑operate with verification.
- You attempt to use ActiveArmour™ primarily as a price‑discovery engine, to test our price, or to run your own bidding war using our work.
- The vehicle is demo, used, pre‑registered, auction or private sale, or a time‑limited / unrepeatable special.
- You request more than two complimentary checks and refuse the A$250 per additional check fee.
- You rely on post‑offer OEM/government price changes or add optional extras after the offer.
- The claimed contact was sent by a finance partner you expressly engaged.
- Cheaper prices found later (outside our sealed bid round) are the sole basis of the claim.
- Claims that rely on us not achieving the absolute market‑lowest price or similar superlatives.
- Fleet / multi‑vehicle: any claim made on vehicles beyond the first in the same deal.
- We reasonably determine your usage pattern consumes disproportionate operational resources versus genuine customers (e.g. repeated re‑briefs, serial quote tests, multi‑channel dealer fishing).
8) Limits, caps & liability
- One remedy per intended purchase / deal. For fleet or multi‑vehicle purchases, the guarantee applies once per deal, limited to the first vehicle only.
- Carmada may also limit successful claims to one per customer in any rolling 12‑month period.
- Annual aggregate cap: Carmada’s total liability under ActiveArmour™ across all customers is capped at A$10,000 per financial year. Once reached, no further claims are payable in that year.
- Our total liability per eligible purchase is capped at A$500 cash or A$750 finance credit.
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, lost profit, or opportunity.
9) Fraud, abuse & bad faith
Carmada may refuse, suspend or terminate access to ActiveArmour™ (and/or this guarantee) if we reasonably suspect fraud, collusion, manipulation, serial misuse, or material non‑disclosure.
10) Changes to this guarantee
We may amend or discontinue ActiveArmour™ or these terms at any time. Changes will not apply retrospectively to briefs already accepted under the version in force at that time. Each version is date‑stamped.
11) Force majeure & outages
We are not responsible for breaches caused by events outside our reasonable control, including telco or platform outages, cyber incidents, data‑centre failures, natural disasters, industrial action, or government intervention.
12) Privacy, data & records
We handle your data under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). We maintain internal records of where and when (if at all) we release your personal contact details to dealers, for verification and dispute resolution. We may retain these records for up to 24 months. We may also use anonymised, aggregated data to benchmark pricing and savings.
13) Law, venue & dispute resolution
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Disputes first go to informal resolution, then to confidential arbitration in Queensland. If arbitration fails, disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Queensland courts. If any clause is unenforceable, the rest remains effective.
14) Acceptance
By using ActiveArmour™, you confirm you’ve read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
